The Avengers always stop the villains, but always at the cost of massive damage, and particularly innocent civilians. The U.N. propose them to sign an agreement to be overseen by a U.N. committee. Some, as Iron Man, agree to it while others, as Captain America, want to remain independent and chose their fights. The signature ceremony is interrupted by a terrorist attack, and Bucky Barnes the Winter Soldier is identified as the attacker. Captain America decides to go and prevent the authorities from killing his long-time friend, but they all got apprehended. Barnes is then interrogated by Zemo pretending to be a psychiatrist; Zemo reactivates Barnes' Winter Soldier powers and send him on rampage to cover his own escape. Captain America manages to capture Barnes, who reveals that Zemo wanted the location of the abandonned Hydra base where the four other Winter Soldiers are kept in cryostasis. Captain America wants to immediately chase Zemo, without waiting for the U.N. committee's approval. Led by Iron Man, some Avengers (including Ant-Man and Spiderman) try to stop the other led by Captain America, but fail to prevent them from going after Zemo. Discovering that Barnes was framed by Zemo, Iron Man flies to the Hydra base. There Zemo reveals that Barnes, under the control of Hydra, had killed Tony Stark's parents, leading Iron Man to attempt to kill Barnes, ending up fight Captain America who tries to protect his friend. Zemo is eventually apprehended by Iron Man, but not before Captain America has left the Avengers, leaving his shield behind. Zemo is satisfied, as his plan for avenging the death of his family in Sokovia caused by the Avengers fighting Ultron was to plant discord among them.

The Solarized color scheme redefines some of the standard basic ANSI colors, making some color combinations unsuitable for display. In particular, bright green, bright yellow, bright blue and bright cyan are tones of grey instead of the expected colors.

Also, some terminals interpret bold text as bright colors, turning e.g, bold green into a shade of grey instead of the expected green. At least in URxvt, setting intensityStyles: False will prevent bold text from being displayed in bright colors (but will still be displayed in a bold font).

When redefining color schemes for terminal applications using ANSI colors, these are possible combinations, using the usual ANSI color names. Note that bright colors are usually not available as background colors.

One fund manager notices that the US housing market was rotten two years before the 2007 crash. He invests in credit default swaps, asking an investment bank to create a market for them, betting against the market, despite the common idea that the housing market cannot collapse, because it never had before. A few other investors learn of his analysis and follow his steps. The funds' investors are not happy about the fact that they need to pay large premiums for two years, but the managers are convinced they are right. In the meanwhile, some of them investigate the situation and discovers that mortgage brokers are selling loans to people who will not be able to pay them back, re-selling those mortgages to banks that are eager to turn them into financial instruments, MBS and CDOs. These instruments are well rated by complacent rating agencies, which helps keeping their values artificially high when more and more people start to default on their payments. When the value of the CDOs finally plummet, those traders sell their CDS, making enormous profits, but most of them give up on finance, disgusted by the fact that the system is rotten to the core.

Hank Pym had invented a way to shrink a human to the size of an ant but refuses to reveal it to his partner Darren Cross who wants to weaponize it. Years after having evicted Pym from the research center, Cross has managed to create his own method of shrinking humans, and plans to sell it to the highest bidder (who happens to be Hydra) in combination to the Yellowjacket, a mechanised body armour. Pym then enrolls Scott Lang, an ex-burglar, to become Ant-Man, by luring him into stealing the Ant-Man suit. Lang is caught, and Pym helps him escape prison by becoming the size on an ant. Pym manages to convince Lang to become Ant-Man and and prevent Cross from selling the Yellowjacket. Ant-Man enters secretly the research center during the unveiling ceremony for the Yellowjacket and with the help of the ants that Pym has somehow domesticated, they destroy the computers holding the research on the weapon. Ant-Man is however captured when trying to destroy the Yellojacket prototype, and a long fight ensues, against Cross wearing the armour. Ant-Man manages to enter the armour by reducing to a subatomic size, from which he manages to grow again despite Pym's prediction of getting lost in an environment where time and space lose meaning.

While raiding a Hydra base in Eastern Europe, the Avengers find an extra-terrestrial sceptre containing an IA in a gem, an Infinity Stone. Stark attempts to use that IA to make the ultimate peace-keeping android, Ultron. Ultron's consciousness awakes by accident, and it decides that to preserve peace on Earth, all humans must be eliminated. Ultron uses the Hydra lab to build an army of robots, and enrolls the Maximoff twins, who blame Stark for the death of their parents. The Avengers track Ultron in its search for vibranium, but he escapes, and Wanda Maximoff's psychic powers provoke hallucinations about potential futures, that almost breaks the team apart (and causes Hulk to do much damage in a city). In Seoul, Ultron forces Dr. Cho to create a body that allies the gem, vibranium and synthetic human cells, but the transfer of the mind to the new body is interrupted by Cho who got a warning from Wanda, the twins having turned against Ultron when learning its desire to kill all humans. The new body is recovered by the Avengers, and Stark merges JARVIS with the partial Ultron consciousness, creating a powerful being decided to stop Ultron. Back in Eastern Europe, Ultron uses the Hydra lab to build a device that lifts the whole nearby city in order to turn it into a meteor that will cause the next massive extinction of species. The Avengers, helped by Nick Fury and a few former S.H.I.E.L.D. agents, evacuate the city as it is lifting off, and destroy it in the nick of time.

Z is a nonconformist worker ant. One evening, he unknowingly meets princess Bala who wanted to discover the lower class of the ant society, and falls in love. Learning she would assist to the next day's military parade, he exchanges places with his soldier friend Weaver. The parading soldiers are immediately sent out to attack the termites, an attempt by general Mandible to get rid of all the soldiers loyal to the queen. Mandible, betrothed to Bala, aims to become the new ruler and build a new society without those feeble workers. Z survives unexpectedly, becomes a hero, meets the Queen, kidnaps the princess, and together they escape the colony. Z dreams to find the mythic Insectopia. They eventually reach the place (located around a garbage bin), but Bala is taken by Mandible's second in command, and Z follows them back to the colony. There they discover Mandible's plan to submerge the colony with the nearly finished tunnel that will open below a pond, keeping only his trusted soldiers with him. Z and his friends manage to evacuate the Queen and all the workers while the water is pouring in, killing Mandible in the process.

Des bijoux, revendus par le marquis de Tergall à un bijoutier sont volés à Saint-Calais, ainsi que l'argent de la vente. Au même moment, Fantômas est en prison à Louvain. Juve décide de le faire évader et de se laisser enfermer à sa place. Des inspecteurs de la Sûreté le suivent, dans l'intention de l'arrêter à son arrivée en France. Hélas, Fantômas les sème et prend la place d'un passager du train, qui s'avère être le nouveau juge d'instruction de Saint-Calais. Fantômas assassine le marquis et fait chanter sa femme pour qu'elle lui remette une forte somme d'argent. En même temps, il vole aux voleurs les bijoux et l'argent de leur vente. Fandor fait faire extrader Juve et le fait venir à Saint-Calais, où le subterfuge est expliqué au procureur. Sachant qu'il va être reconnu et arrêté, Fantômas, jouant toujours le rôle du juge d'instruction, donne un ordre secret au chef des gardiens de prison de relâcher Fantômas après qu'on l'ait arrêté, étant donné que Juve se fait passer pour Fantômas. Fantômas se laisse donc arrêter après avoir enlevé sa perruque et sa fausse barbe, et se retrouve peu après à nouveau en liberté.

Juve est accusé d'être Fantômas et incarcéré. L'ancienne maîtresse de Fantômas, maintenant mariée, donne un bal masqué. Fandor y va déguisé en Fantômas, et un policier a la même idée que lui. Le véritable Fantômas s'y rend aussi, tue le policier et, toujours masqué, se fait panser une blessure au bras avant de partir. Le juge va alors vérifier le bras de Juve dans sa cellule, et y découvre une blessure. Mais on a tôt fait de découvrir que Nibet, le gardien travaillant pour Fantômas, a drogué l'inspecteur et l'a blessé pour le faire accuser. Juve est libéré secrètement. Fandor enquête de son coté et se fait accidentellement enfermer dans la maison abandonnée où Fantômas a caché son butin, à l'abri de sa bande de complices. Ce dernier, se faisant passer pour un simple lieutenant, promet que Fantômas procèdera au partage lorsqu'il se sera évadé. La bande, impatiente, enlève Juve, le croyant Fantômas et l'emmène à la maison abandonnée. Caché dans la maison, Fandor lui explique où est caché le butin. Au même moment Fantômas, se faisant passer pour Tom Bob, détective américain, fait venir la police à la maison abandonnée pour faire arrêter ses complices. Juve et Fandor étant sur place, ils parviennent à arrêter Fantômas, mais ce dernier parvient encore une fois à s'échapper.

Fandor croit Juve mort dans l'explosion de la villa, mais en réalité ce dernier a infiltré la pègre et surveille Nibet, complice de Fantômas. Fantômas a fait accuser un artisan de meurtre ; ce dernier meurt dans une cellule de palais de justice, et son corps disparaît. Fandor cherche à savoir comment le corps a pu disparaître, et son enquête le mène dans les égouts où il échappe de peu à Fantômas (grâce à l'action de Juve). Plusieurs vols sont ensuite commis par le malfaiteur, et on retrouve les empreintes du mort (Fantômas s'étant fabriqué un gant avec la peau de la main du mort pour laisser exprès ses empreintes). En parallèle, la s½ur de la victime retrouve dans les documents de son frère une liste perdue par Fantômas qui indique qui seront ses futures victimes, et la date approximative des méfaits. Fantômas cherche à plusieurs reprises à assassiner la femme, et elle doit son salut à Fandor. Juve se révèle alors à son ami, et en croisant leurs informations, ils déduisent que Fantômas se cache sous l'identité d'un banquier. Malheureusement, il parvient à nouveau à s'échapper au moment de son arrestation.

Une complice de Fantômas séduit un négociante et l'accompagne à bord du Simplon-Express ; Fandor les suit. Durant le voyage, leur wagon est détaché et ils sont dévalisés par la bande de Fantômas. Quelques temps plus tard, Juve et Fandor croisent la complice dans un restaurant ; sous la contrainte, elle leur révèle que Fantômas se trouve à ce même restaurant sous le déguisement du Dr. Chaleck. Juve et Fandor l'arrêtent, mais il parvient à s'échapper. Peu de temps après, on tente d'assassiner Juve en introduisant un serpente constricteur dans sa chambre, mais grâce à Fandor, Juve est sauf. Plus tard encore, la villa de Lady Beltham est en vente, mais on la dit hantée. Juve et Fandor la visitent et découvre que quelqu'un s'y rend régulièrement la nuit. Il s'agit de Fantômas qui y rencontre Lady Beltham. La police donne alors l'assaut, mais Fantômas s'échappe en faisant exploser une bombe dans la villa.

Suite à un vol de bijoux, l'inspecteur Juve enquête au domicile de Gurn et y trouve le cadavre de Lord Beltham et des cartes de visite au nom de Fantômas. Gurn est finalement arrêté et condamné à mort, mais sa maîtresse, Lady Beltham, soudoie des gardiens et remplace Fantômas en prison par l'acteur Valgrand qui vient de jouer sur scène les dernières heures du criminel. Valgrand est reconnu peu avant l'heure fatale, et Fantômas est libre à nouveau.

A young couple builds their build-it-yourself house, but a rejected suitor modifies the building instructions. The house-warming party ends in a disaster, and they eventually find out they built the house on the wrong plot. A train destroys the house as they try to move it.

Young lovers living on neighbouring houses are trying to see each other, but their fathers do their best to keep them apart. They finally attempt to get married, but the hostile fathers do their best to prevent the ceremony to get to its conclusion. They do get married in the end, though.

A man is mistakenly identified as a dangerous criminal. He tries to escape the police and find refuge in a nice girl's home (who lives with her parents). The father happens to be the policeman chasing the poor man. She eventually helps him escape.

Keaton plays several roles in this film, many of them appearing on screen simultaneously. The characters are in a variety theatre as several muscians, singer, dancer and choristers. He also plays the part of the prop master, who tries to court a woman, but repeatedly confuse her with her twin sister.

A butterfly collector enters the territory of Indians who are being kicked out by crooked oil sharks who have stolen their land deed. He manages to survive being burned at the stake buy making an asbestos suit. Awed by this, the Indians treat them as one of their own. He then helps them face the oil sharks, but he is caught by their boss, who forces him to change clothes with him. The Indians (and a rival tribe) chase him, but eventually recognize him. In the boss's jacket, he finds the land deed, allowing the Indians to stay on their land.

Oskari needs to go hunt alone in the Laplandish forest on his thirteenth's birthday, as a rite of passage. In the meanwhile, Air Force One it shot down while flying over the same forest, with the help of the president's bodyguard, Morris. The president's escape pod is found by Oskari, who takes him along on his hunting trip. But when reaching the family's secret hunting spot, Oskari finds a deer's head in a refrigerator, a sign that his father does not believe him to be able to hunt on his own. Morris cathes them at this place, soon joined by Hazar, who mostly wants to enjoy the hunt of such big game. Oskari and the president manage to escape, riding down a slope in the refrigerator, and arriving in the lake where Air Force One has crashed. They find shelter in the plane, but Hazar finds them, arms a bomb, but is then abandonned by Morris. They manage to escape using the pilots' ejection seats, killing Hazar and Morris in the process. Oskari is accepted among the hunters, having accomplished an even bigger feat than his father had.

Enola enquête sur l'enlèvement d'une jeune femme disparue dans la station de métro de Baker Street. Descendue pour aider un vieille femme à descendre l'escalier, ses dames de compagnie l'attendand à l'extérieur ne l'ont jamais vue ressortir. La description de la vieille femme rappelle à Enola une fripière de l'East End à qui elle avait acheté des vêtements peu après son arrivée à Londres. Partiellement réconciliée avec Sherlock, elle demande son assistance et celle de Toby le limier pour retrouver la victime, qui est réunie avec ses proches. En parallèlè, Enola reçoit (via Sherlock) une enveloppe contenant un message chiffré de sa mère. Elle apprend son décès parmi les bohémiens qui l'avaient accueillie, suite à une maladie que l'avait convaincue de quitter sa fille pour profiter de la liberté avant qu'il ne soit trop tard. Enola se réconcilie avec Sherlock et Mycroft, qui l'encouragent à suivre sa voie.

For N = 1920 (FullHD), a_max = 19.1°. With a 4K screen, a_max = 37.2°.

The ideal value or a is a matter of debate, but THX defines a horizontal viewing angle of at least 36° (the screen viewed from the rear seat of a THX theatre), while SMPTE suggests 30°. A value of 20° is also mentioned.

With a 4K screen, a_max = 37.2° and (2), we draw that the ideal distance is 1.30 times the screen's diagonal. For example:

• 132 cm for a 40" screen
• 165 cm for a 50" screen
• 197 cm for a 60" screen

With a = 30°, the ideal screen distance is 1.63 times the screen's diagonal. For example:

EDIT: The value of e is valid for a high contrast between two pixels. Most images do not have such a high contrast, and therefore a value of e = 1 arcminute is a reasonnable assumption in practice.

From this follows that for N = 1920 (FullHD), a_max = 35.5° (1.36 times the screen diagonal). With a 4K screen, a_max = 65.3° (0.68 times the screen diagonal). This also gives a reasonnable value for standard definition PAL TV with N = 1024, a_max = 19.4° (2.55 times the screen diagonal).

That would allow for larger horizonat viewing angles, such as 45° (1.05 times the screen diagonal) or 60° (0.75 times the screen diagonal) when viewing a 4K screen. At such short distances one must however take into account the possible lack of comfort due to the physical closeness of smaller screens.

Mrs Tupper, la logeuse d'Enola, est enlevée après avoir reçu une lettre exigeant de rendre un message secret. Enola comprend que Mrs Tupper a servi a son insu de messagère à Florence Nightingale durant la guerre de Crimée trente-cinq ans plus tôt. Enola retrouve le message brodé sur la tournure de la robe que portait Mrs Tupper le jour où elle est repartie en Angleterre. Après avoir rencontré la recluse Florence Nightingale, Enola apprend que le message pourrait causer du tort à la carrière politique d'un jeune lord. Enola parvient alors à décoder le message (du morse représenté par des fleurs brodées) et décide d'échanger le message contre sa logeuse. Le jeune lord est sous le contrôle de son ambitieux frère cadet, mais Enola parvient à le convaincre de prendre son indépendance et à dédommager Mrs Tupper pour sa peine. Surprise par l'apparition de son frère Sherlock, elle parvient à s'échapper avec sa logeuse, qu'elle confie à Florence Nightingale. Enola doit maintenant trouver une nouvelle cachette.

Enola rencontre par hasard Lady Alistair qui semble prisonnière de deux femmes. La jeune fille laisse à Enola un éventail rose sur lequel a été écrit à l'encre sympathique un appel au secours. Enola parvient à découvrir que les femmes sont les tantes de la jeune fille, et grâce à Sherlock, engagé par la mère pour retrouver sa fille, que cette dernière va être mariée de force à son cousin deux jours plus tard. Enola découvre ensuite que le mariage doit avoir lieu dans la chapelle d'un orphelinat. Elle s'y introduit en se faisant passer pour une orpheline, s'y cache et lorsque Lady Alistair est amenée de force pour l'habiller avant la cérémonie, déguise la jeune fille en orpheline afin de lui permettre de s'échapper. Enola elle-même s'échappe à l'arrivée de Mycroft qui pense être de son devoir d'aider sa pauvre s½ur sans défense. À la fin, Sherlock soutient le désir d'indépendance d'Enola, contre l'avis de son frère.

Enola apprend que le docteur Watson a disparu. En rendant visite à sa femme dans l'espoir de trouver un indice, Enola voit un bouquet composé de fleurs aux connotations négatives. Elle découvre qu'il a été envoyé par un homme portant une prothèse nasale, dont la perte accidentelle a effrayé le jeune livreur. Enola fait de rapprochement avec une boutique de maquillages et postiches qu'elle fréquente pour compléter ses déguisements. La propriétaire du magasin devient désagréable lorsqu'elle l'interroge sur de telles prothèses. Enola espionne alors la marchande et découvre qu'elle a une jeune s½ur défigurée qui avait été fait interner par son mari, avec l'autorisation de Watson. De la conversation, Enola déduit que Watson a été interné à son tour sous le nom dudit mari (disparu, mais pas officiellement reconnu comme décédé), et elle prévient Sherlock de sa situation. Elle avertit aussi Scotland Yard qui découvre le corps du mari dans un bac à fleur de la selle chaude des deux s½urs.

Mrs Bennet's sole concern is to marry her five daughters before her husband dies and their farm becomes the property of Mr Bennet's cousin. At a ball, Jane falls in love with a visiting noble, Mr Bingley, while Elizabeth is attracted to the very rich but dry Mr Darcy, Bingley's friend. When Bingley suddenly moves back to London, Elizabeth learns that Darcy has advised his friend to break up with Jane, as she seemed to be interested only by his money. Darcy then tells Elizabeth he loves her, but she accuses him of making Jane's life miserable because he misinterpreted her shyness as a lack of feelings. Soon after, Lydia elopes with a young lieutenant, and all hopes seem lost for the family as this act would all disgrace them. But the lieutenant marries Lydia for a very small dowry, and Elizabeth learns that Darcy had paid a large sum for the marriage to happen. Then Darcy and Bingley come back to the farm, and Bingley, after a false start, asks Jane to marry him. Darcy follows suit and asks Elizabeth to marry him too.

Enola se cache à Londres en se faisant passer pour Ivy Meshle, la secrétaire du docteur Ragostin, un enquêteur spécialisé en disparitions. Ce dernier n'est qu'une couverture, mais John Watson vient le consulter pour retrouver Enola, que son frère Sherlock recherche en vain. Enola apprend par hasard que Lady Alistair a disparu, et que l'enquête piétine. Sous l'identité de Mrs Ragostin, Enola enquête sur la disparition de la jeune fille. On pense à une fugue ou à un enlèvement, mais cet deux théories peuvent facilement être mises en défaut. Une nuit, on tente d'étrangler Enola, que réchappe du justesse à l'attaque. Son enquête la conduit à Alexander Finch, avec qui Lady Alistair avait échangé des lettres. Cette dernière semble intéressée par les écrits de Marx et par le sort des pauvres de Londres. Enola finit par découvrir que Finch se fait passer pour Cameron Shaw, un agitateur politique qui a hypnotisé Lady Alistair, la garde enfermée dans un taudis le jour, et l'emmène avec lui le soir distribuer des tracts politiques. Enola parvient à lui faire prendre conscience de sa situation et à s'enfuir. Finch parvient à les rattraper et attaque Lady Alistair. Enola l'emmène chez Watson pour la soigner, et est reconnue par Sherlock. Elle lui échappe de justesse, mais sa couverture d'Ivy Meshle n'est plus sûre.

Jane is a huge fan of Jane Austen's novels. She spends all her savings to go to England to a Austen-themed holiday mansion. There she plays the role of an orphan who has been taken in by a rich family. Two other, rich american women play the role of rich, single ladies. Jane is first attracted to Martin, a stableboy, but is then courted by Mr. Nobley, who at first seemed to be a grumpy young man. Knowing that the holiday is scripted, and that the love affairs are part of the story, she sets her heart to Martin, who seems to be genuinly in love with her. On her last day, she learns that Martin was the one who was scripted for her, and that Nobley was the one genuinly in love with her. Upon her return to America, Nobley pops up at her door.

Au fil des jours, le blog de Marie continue de publier automatiquemet des articles dénonçant certains membres de mouvements transhumanistes. Meyer entreprend un périple à travers l'Europe centrale dans les villes qui ont une importance historique pour le peuple juif. Il termine à Prague, ville où se déroule un championnat d'échecs qu'il devrait gagner facilement grâce à sa mémoire augmentée, en même temps qu'un congrès de neurologie qui devrait récompenser les travaux de Klapman. Meyer accuse publiquement Klapman de pratiques contraires à l'éthique et déclare forfait au début de sa partie d'échecs.

Ingrédients

• 300 g farine
• 3 g levure sèche
• 1 c. café poudre à lever
• 1 c. soupe sucre
• 200 mL lait tiède
• 5 g sel
• 30 g beurre mou
• huile

• 9 cercles métalliques de 9 cm de diamètre, huilés à l'intérieur
• plaque à four et papier cuisson
• lèche-frite (profonde si possible)
• pinceau

Préparation

• Mélanger tous les ingrédients secs, ajouter le lait et mélanger.
• Ajouter le beurre et pétrir 5 min
• Laisser reposer 1 h
• Former 9 boules (de 61 g chacune), les étirer en disque et placer chaque disque sur la plaque couverte du papier cuisson, au centre d'un cercle
• Passer le desssus des disque à l'eau à l'aide du pinceau
• Laisser reposer 2 h
• Préchauffer le four à 200 °C. Une fois chaud, y placer sur le fond la lèche-frite avec 1 L d'eau bouillante
• Cuire les petits pains pendant 15 min

• Les petits pains se conservent plusieurs jours dans une boite hermétique
