“We use the term lager/IPA hybrid because we cold ferment this beer with a classic lager yeast. The initial fermentaion takes at least 2 weeks, after which we lager (store) the beer at zero degrees for a minimum of 4 weeks, during which period we add a chock load of classic IPA style hops”

Quite sweet and slightly bitter, rather fruity. Contains barley and wheat.

“Prior to the 1850s many Scottish coastal alehouses brewed their own ales using local malted barley grown on fields fertilized with seaweed. We have recreated the unique flavour of this traditional ale with the inclusion of fresh seaweed, Bladder Rack, which is taken fresh from the water on the Argyll coast and masehd in witht he malted and roasted barley. Kelpie is a rich, chocolate ale with an aroma of fresh seabreeze and a distinctive malty texture.”

Kind of chocolatey, but I can't really find the seaweed in the taste. Contains malted barley.

Not bad, quite sweet and fruity/citrusy. Contains malted barley and malted wheat.

Very flowery smell, very fruity and quite sweet taste. Very good. Contains wheat and malted barley.

A bit flowery smell, slightly sweet taste, otherwise just another ale. Contains malted barley and oats.

Slightly citrusy, yes, and a nice smell of I-don't-know-what. Contains malted barley.

Beery flavour maybe, but it's sweet and mainly tastes of ginger. It's also hot like ginger.

Tastes of raspberries, not much of malt or hops. Contains malted barley.

Rather hints of red fruits than toffee, I'd say. But that's just me.

Definitely coffee-ish taste, not too bitter. Didn't notice the blackcurrant aroma, though. Contains malted barley and malted wheat.

The ale is produced to a 16th Century Scots – Gaelic recipe from malted barley bree, sweet gale and heather flowers, The hot ale is infused in heather flowers before being fermented in copper tuns. Fraoch has a floral, peaty aroma, full malt body, a spicy hearbal flavour and a dry wine finish.”

Tastes slightly like a sweet kind of flower, not bitter. Contains barley malt.
