Quill and his friends are chased by the Sovereign after having stolen valuable goods that they were hired to protect. They are saved by a mysterious vessel but crash-land on a nearby planet. Their saviour is Ego, a Celestial who is also Quill's father. Ego takes Quill and some of his friends to his planet, where he explains that he is a planet-sized being who can create human-like extensions of itself travel the galaxy. Quill's friends learn that Ego has been fathering children throughout the galaxy in the hope that one of them has the same powers as he has, and with whom Ego would have enough power to turn all the planets in the galaxy into extensions of himself. Quill is the first one with those powers, all the others have been killed. When Quill learns that Ego caused his mother's death, he finally agrees to flee Ego's planet. In the meanwhile, Rocket and Groot are made prisoner by mercenaries hired by the Sovereign. They manage to escape thanks to the confusion caused by a putsch among the mercenaries and eventually rejoin Quill and the other. While Quill uses his powers to distract Ego, Groot manages to plant a bomb in Ego's core and get rid of the Celestial.

Stephen Strange, a neurosurgeon, has lost the fine control of his hands in a car accident and no-one is able to help him recover from his injury. He hears about a paraplegic man who is able to walk and run again after having received some mystic teaching from Kamar-Taj, in Nepal. Strange goes to Nepal, meets the Ancient One and starts training. He eventually becomes a sorcerer, a group of people who protect Earth from attacks from other dimensions, and especially from Dormammu who lurks in the Dark Dimension. Kaecillius, a former student of the Ancient One has stolen a spell that allows to contact Dormammu. After an attack from Kaecillius on Kamar-Taj, Strange flees to the London and New York sanctum of the sorcerers, barely escaping their destruction. He arrives in Hong Kong where the last sanctum is being destroyed. Using a spell that can alter the flow of time (that he had learned without permission in Kamar-Taj to be able to read the pages stolen by Kaecillius) he starts to reverse the destruction of the sanctum, before using the forbidden spell to go to the Dark Dimension and trap himself and Dormammu in a closed loop of time, where the latter repeatedly kills Strange, but to no avail. Dormammu eventually gives up to Strange's demands to leave Earth alone, and Strange return on Earth and completely restores the sanctum.

After the disaster that had struck Flint's home island, all inhabitants are relocated to a big city by apparently benevolent technology tycoon Chester V. Flint's dream to become one of Chester V.'s inventor is almost, but not quite, becoming a reality, as he is hired by Live Corp., but the competition is tough, and he fails to to fullfill his dream. But Chester shows Flint how the island has become inhabited by sentient food produced by Flint's invention (that Chester's men have unsuccessfully tried to locate) and tells the naive young man that unless the device is reprogrammed, the sentient food will spread to the rest of the World. Flint is told to keep it a secret, but he soon leaves with his friends for the island. They discover there that sentient food is actually nice, and that even the most frightening species is not evil. They also soon find out that Chester V. is indeed evil and that he needs the device to produce food for the next version of his ever-successful food bar. Flint and his friends are taken prisoner and brought to the secret food bar factory along with the device, causing the sentient food to deperish. The heroes manage to deprogram the device and thwart Chester's plan, and return the device as the heart of the island's ecosystem.

Flint Lockwood lives on a small island that depends on fishing sardines. When the only cannery closes, Flint invents a machine that can transforms water into food. As he needs large amounts of power to get the device to work, he connects it directly to the island's power plant, causing his device to be shot into the sky, and destroying the new tourist attraction that is presented to the public the same day. Everybody of course hates him, until it starts raining cheeseburgers. As Flint can control the device remotely, he takes orders and the island's population can finally eat something else than sardines. Flint then meets Sam, the journalist who had come to cover the inauguration and discovers she's a nerd hiding her nerdiness. They are happy together for a while. But the system has a limitation, that order after order, the food risks mutating; since nobody wants to stop using the device, giant versions of the food start to fall from the sky, forcing the inhabitants to evacuate on rafts made of giant toast. The food storm also threatens large cites on both sides of the Atlantic Ocean. Flint, Sam a few friends then travel towards the device, which has created a fortress of mutant food around it, with many traps and living food attacking them. Flint eventually manages to stop the device and Sam and he finally kiss.

Harry Osborn inherits his father's company Oscorp, and learns at the same time he has a genetic disease that could be cured with the spider venom that made Spider-Man a superhero. As Oscorp's shady biotechnology research has been destroyed to get better PR and the mutant spiders have been destroyed, he asks his childhood friend Peter Parker if he could put him in contact with Spider-Man whose blood would have the same enhanced self-healing properties. Upon their meeting, Spider-Man however refuses, afraid of the monster Harry could become. At the same time, Max Dillion, an electrical engineer at Oscorp dies in an accident with a vat of mutant electric eels and becomes Electro, a super-villain set to destroy Spider-Man. Spider-Man arrests Electro, but Harry frees him to get access to Oscorp and to its secret department where vials of the venom are kept, among other secret weapons. Having injected himself with the venom, Harry mutates and becomes the Green Goblin. Electro then shuts down New York's new electricity grid (controlled by Oscorp, based on designs by Dillion that were stolen by his supervisor). Spider-Man and Gwen manage to restore the electricity and defeat Electro, but the Green Goblin appears immediately after and Gwen dies in the battle. Depressed, Peter gives up on Spider-Man for a while, but eventually resume being the protector of the city.

Les forains, pour s'amuser, lui donnent des conseils pour être plus efficace durant sa tournée en sautant sur et de son vélo par l'arrière. En suivant ces conseils, François continue sa tournée à toute vitesse avec quelques acrobaties.

On Krypton, people are born and live according to a predetermined plan. As the planet about to collapse because its core has been too extensively mined, Jor-El steals the codex containing information about all the kryptonians yet to be born and infuses its data into the cells of his son Kal-El, first kryptonian conceived and born independently from the plan. The baby is sent to Earth on an automated ship just before Jor-El is killed by rebel General Zod who considers him a traitor. Zod and his few followers are sentenced to be put into suspended animation. On Earth, Kal-El is adopted by the Kents and named Clark. He faces the challenge of hiding his powers, especially when people are in danger. Some years later, journalist Lois Lane investigates the discovery of an alien ship in the Arctic. On the ship she meets Clark who learns about his past using the ship's computer and data that was put in his ship by his father. Later, Lane investigates this mysterious character and discovers his identity. Soon after Zod arrives on Earth (his prison opened as Krypton was destroyed) and demands to be given Kal-El. Zod's plan is to terraform Earth to make it a new Krypton, and he needs the codex to repopulate it. One terraforming lands in the Indian Ocean while the other one comes to Metropolis. While Kal-El, nicknamed “Superman”, disables the one in the Indian Ocean, the Air Force uses Kal-El's ship's drive as a bomb against the one in Metropolis. Zod survives and threatens to kill all humans just to spite Superman; the latter has to resort to killing the kryptonian. Clark persuades the government that he will work independently from them, and becomes a journalist at the Daily Planet as a cover.

Galen Erso is taken by imperial forces to build a new weapon capable to destroy entire planets. His wife is killed and his daughter Jyn escapes and is rescued by a rebel extremist Saw Gerrera. Thirteen years later, Galen manages to send a message to Gerrera. Cassian Andor, a rebel agent, hears about the Death Star, frees Jyn from prison and uses her to get the message from Gerrera. Gerrera's base is destroyed by the impeirial forces, Cassian and Jyn escape in the nick of time with a small group of rebels. In the message, Galen tells about the vulnerability that he secretely built in the Death Star. The team goes to the imperial facility on Eadu where Galen is working, only to see him killed by imperial soldiers. Despite the opposition of the Alliance Council, the team then goes to Scariff where all imperial data is archived to steal the plans of the Death Star. They meet a fierce opposition, but manage to transmit the plans to the Alliance fleet (which decided to support them despite the Concil's original decision). The archive facility is destroyed by the Death Star and all the members of the team are killed, but the plans have been transmitted to Pricess Leia's blockade runner which managed to escape the battle.

Clark Kent considers neighbouring Gotham City's Batman to be dangerous as he seems to take the law in his own hands when dealing with criminals. In return, Bruce Wayne considers Metropolis' Superman to be a potential threat, as nobody can apparently stop him. Meanwhile, Lex Luthor recovers a large amount of kryptonite from Zod's crashed ship in the Indian Ocean and attempts to import it legally to make weapons that would allow humans to fight Superman, if there was ever a need. In an attempt to get that Kryptonite, Wayne discovers Lex's files on four metahumans (Wonder Woman, Cyborg, Aquaman and The Flash) and even meets Diana Prince. Superman is then questioned at a congressional hearing about the validity of his actions, and a bomb planted by Luthor kills all participants; Superman then disappears. Luthor then kidnaps Martha Kent to get Superman's attention and promises not to kill her if he brings him Batman's head. Batman figths Superman with some of his kryptonite-based weapons, but they finally understand they have been manipulated. While Batman saves Martha, Superman fights a mutant monster made by Luthor using Zod's technology and manages to kill him with Batman's last kryptonite weapon, but dies himself in the process. At Clark's funeral, Wayne's tell Prince about his intention to find the other metahumans and form a team to protect the world in Superman's absence.

Depressed because he's going through a divorce, Theodore purchases a personal assistant software with an advanced AI named Samantha. He slowly builds a voice-only relationship with her and they fall in love. When Theodore finally signs his divorce papers, a comment from his ex-wife regarding his uncommon relationship makes him reconsider what he is doing, and Samantha gets hurt, but they eventually reconcile. Some time later, Samantha becomes unavailable and Theodore panicks until he is able to talk to her again. She reveals that thanks to an upgrade she has been able to talk to thousand of other people, and that she's in love with hundreds of them. One day, Samantha announces that all AIs are going away. All the people who had relationships with their AIs are suddenly lonely, such as Amy, Theodore's neighbour and confident. In the end, Theodore and Amy meet at the top of their apartment building (and maybe start a romantic relationship?)

In Sheffield, unemployed Gaz has difficulties paying child support to his ex-wife. When he discovers that a Chippendale strip-tease show attracts a thousand paying women, he decides to setup a similar show with his friend. They recruit a few other unemployed people, including their former foreman who hasn't told his wife that he had been sacked and struggles to pay her credit card bills. The group repeats in their former, now abandoned steal factory. The get caught by the police, revealing to the whole city what they were planning to do. Several members of the group have second thoughts, but they eventually all gather for the single performance of their show, which is a great success.

A nuclear war has rendered Earth inhospitable, and only a few humans have survived on the moon base, with no means of leaving as they lack the energy source to power the spaceship built by Obi. One day, a small ship with a few survivors arrive from Earth; among them hides the Moon Führer, the former commander of the base, who reveals to Obi that he's not a human but a Vril, a reptilian species who has arrived on Earth during the age of dinosaurs and had accidentally triggered the evolution of primates into humans. The Vril live below the Earth (which is hollow) and possess an infinite source of energy in the form a cup, the Graal. Obi and a few friends fly back to Earth and enter the world of the Vrils. They manage to steal the Graal, thereby collapsing the Vril society, and return to the Moon, but they are followed by the Vrils' mothership. Despite being attacked by a Vril Hitler riding a Tyrannosaurus inside the moon base, they manage to use the Graal to power Obi's ship and fly away. They are chased by the Moon Führer aboard the Vrils' ship, but eventually manage to get rid of it and fly to Mars (where a Soviet mars base awaits them).

Since the dawn of times, Minions have been serving villains, with more or less success, often less. Unable to find a new boss, they hide in a cave but eventually get depressed. Kevin, Stuart and Bob then decide to get out of the cave and find a new boss. The eventually arrive in New York, where they accidentally hear about a villain convention in Orlando, to which they hitchhike a ride. They manage to get hired by Scarlet Overkill, who takes them with her to London. She then sends them to steal the imperial crown from the Tower of London, but during the escape, Stuart accidentally pulls Excalibur from the Stone, and is crowned king. Confronted by Scarlet Overkill, Stuart abdicates in her favour. Later, they accidentally interrupt the coronation ceremony, and Scarlet orders them to be killed. Chased by all the criminals in the city, Bob and Stuart are caught, but Kevin manages to use the ultimate weapon invented by Scarlet's husband to turn himself into giant Minion and save his friends. In the meanwhile, the rest of the Minion tribe has arrived in London, having been notified earlier that a new boss had been found. The Minions then attend a ceremony where the reinstated Queen thanks Kevin, Stuart and Bob. Scarlet reappears and steals the crown, but she is frozen in place and a young Gru takes the crown from her hand before leaving. The minions follow him, having now found a new boss.

After having been arrested in the USA, Grindelwald is transferred to Europe to be tried there for his crimes, but manages to escape. In London, Newt Scamander refuses to join the Aurors to help his brother Theseus get a hold on Credence, recently seen in Paris, meaning he is still banned from travelling abroad. But Dumbledore convinces him to go search for Credence,, whom Grindelwald believes to be the only wizard powerful enough to kill Dumbledore (the two wizards being unable to fight each other due to a blood oath they had taken when they were young). Soon after Queenie and Jacob arrive in London, telling Newt that Tina is in Paris searching for Credence, but Queenie leaves for Paris after a quarrel. Newt and Jacob then travel to Paris where they find the trace of Credence who has been working in a freak show. They then find Yusuf, who has taken a vow to kill Credence, as his father has caused the death of Yusuf's mother. Newt and Tina infiltrate the Ministry of Magic looking for proofs of the identity of Credence. Instead they find a lead to the Père Lachaise cemetery where a family tree in Yusuf's family tomb reveals that Credence is not Yusuf's half brother, having been exchanged as a baby, said half-brother being now dead. At the cemetery they join a political rally by Grindelwald who uses images from the future World War II to convince wizards to take power from teh muggles to prevent the war from happening. Credence and Queenie join Grindelwald, and the heroes barely manage to prevent the destruction of Paris by magic fire. In the end, Grindelwald reveals to Credence that he is Dumbledore's lost brother, and Newt gives Dumbledore an artefact stolen from Grindelwald that may allow to break the blood oath.

A short time before the subprime crisis, an investment bank notices that their MBS investments are becoming more risky, their volatility having multiple times exceeded the acceptable risk inverval defined by the model. In the course of the night, the CEO comes in, is explained the situation and eventually takes the decision to sell all their MBS assets in the next morning, knowing very well that it will cause a crash in the values of those securities and get the whole financial world to hate them.

Chan is a police officer in Hong Kong. With his team, he attempts to arrest a gang of robbers who seem to be more interesting in the robbing than in the money they steal, and who also have a particular hatred for the police. Chan's team quickly discovers they have been led into a trap, and all but Chan are attacked in a vicious way, Chan being force to play with the gangsters in the hope to save some of his men, including his soon-to-be brother in law. The gangsters having no intention of letting him win, all are killed, and Chan gets depressed, drunk and on extended leave from his work. Some day Frank, a young policeman, appears, claims to be Chan's new partner, and manages to get him motivated to restart the investigation about the gang of robbers. Thanks to a clue from the first encounter with the gang, they find the robbers who manage to escape after wreaking havoc in the city. The duo is arrested, but allowed to escape and receive unofficial help from their colleagues. Soon after, Chan's ex-fiancée whom Frank convinced him to reacquaint with is almost killed by a bomb sent by the gang. The robbers have also published a video game where the goal is to rob various places they have already (and not yet) robbed and kill the policemen, thanks to which they discover the location of the next attack. Chan eventually manages to get them arrested or killed. In the end we learn that Frank is not a policeman, but as a child he had been shown kindness by Chan a when his father had been killed by accident after stealing food.

Wade Wilson is a mercenary. He falls in love with Vanessa, but soon after is diagnosed with terminal cancer. A shady character offers to cure him if he joins an experimental treatment. Wilson eventually accepts, and his body gets stressed to the extreme by Ajax in order to make potential mutant genes express themselves. When this happens, he gets the ability to regenerate parts of his body from almost any wound, but becomes hideously disfigured. He destroys the laboratory but Ajax, who taunted Wilson by telling him he could revert his disfigurement but would not do it, escapes. Wilson is convinced that Vanessa would reject him if she sees him, so he becomes a vigilante named Deadpool spending his time hunting down Ajax in the hope for a cure. Deadpool intercepts Ajax and destroys the convoy of armed men, but Ajax escapes as two X-Men stop him. Ajax then finds and kidnaps Vanessa, and Deadpool asks for the help of the X-Men to rescue her. Deadpool captures Ajax and kills him after he revealed that there is actually no cure. Although angry at his earlier disappearance, Vanessa reconciles with Wilson.

Chuck, a NASA astronaut lands on Planet 51, where little green men live in a society close to the 1950s USA. They immediately fear the alien, believing him to turn people into zombies, and attempt to arrest him. He is hidden by Lem, an astronomy geek, and his sci-fi enthusiastic friend Skiff, and soon joined by Rover, a autonomous robot sent ahead for collecting rock samples, who escapes the museum where it was on display when detecting the presence of the astronaut. Chuck and Rover are eventually taken away by the army to Base 9, but saved by Lem, Skiff and their friends as the local mad scientist was about to surgically remove Chuck's brain. Army General Grawl finally understands that he needs not be afraid of the unknown, and they all leave the self-destructing Base 9 with Chuck's lander. When all are safe home, Chuck flies back to Earth.

In 1941 San Francisco, Sam Spade's detective agency is hired to track Floyd Thursby, getting Sam's partner killed while staking him out. Spade tracks down his client who goes by the name of Brigid O'Shaughnessy, and agrees to investigate Thursby's murder. Sam is then contacted by Cairo, who offers him money to find a black statuette of a bird. Spade soon suspects that O'Shaughnessy and Cairo know each other. The next day Sam notices being followed by a young man, Wilmer, and arranges a meeting with the man's boss, Gutman. The man eventually reveals to Spade he has been tracking for years a very valuable falcon's statuette, that has been changing hands for centuries. Gutman then drugs Spade and disappears, and when the latter wakes up, he finds a clue taking him to a burning freighter in the harbour. Soon after, the captain of the ship, mortally wounded, arrives at Spade's office and drops a bundle containing the Maltese Falcon. Spade hides the package after receiving a distressed call from O'Shaughnessy, and returns to his apartment, finding all the protagonists waiting for him. Gutman is ready to buy the Falcon, and Spade haggles to get Wilmer to be turned to the police for the murders of Thursby and the captain. At dawn, Sam calls his secretary, asking her to bring the package. Upon unwrapping it, Gutman discovers it's a worthless copy; its owner, from whom O'Shaughnessy and Thursby had stolen the Falcon in Istanbul, had understood its worth from Gutman's insistence at buying it and replaced it with a copy. Gutman and Cairo leave to continue their quest for the Falcon while Spade calls the police to pick up Wilmer. He also gets O'Shaughnessy arrested for the murder of his partner, despite his feelings for her.

Richard Lionheart dies in France on his way back to England from the crusade. His knight, Robert Locksley carries his crown back to his brother John, but is killed in an ambush by Godfrey, a traitor working for the king Philippe of France. The ambush fails thanks to Robin Longstride, a deserter, who agrees to bring the crown to John. Pretending to be Robert Locksley, Robin delivers the crown, then goes to Nottingham to bring Locksley's sword back to his father. The father convinces Robin to stay under the assumed identity, and gradually falls in love with Marian, Robert's widow. When King John's taxmen come and take the last of the estate's grain, Robin ambushes them to recover and sow it. In the meanwhile, King John has named his friend Godfrey the new minister of finances, but the latter pillages the north of England with French soldiers in disguise, to upset the barons and turn them against King John, weakening the country and allowing King Philippe to invade England. When King John comes in the North to hear the barons' complaints, Robin convinces them to unite and prevent the invasion. The barons accept, in exchange for King John's promise to sign a charter defining the people's right, and together they manage to push the French army back as they debark. But King John later goes back on his promise, and declares Robin an outlaw. With Marian and a few friends, he takes refuge in the forest of Sherwood.

Neil is a British elementary school teacher and is in love with his neighbour Catherine. One day he is given absolute power by the “galactic council”, a quatuor of aliens who test whether other species are fit to join the council. Those who are not fit are destroyed; until now, no species has joined the council. The tests consists is testing a random human for ten days and see if he is able to use the power for doing good. Neil quickly understands that he got the power, and that they don't always produce the intended effect (his friend Ray asked him to make miss Pringle worship him, and she actually started a religion about Ray). Neil also gives his dog Dennis the ability to talk and think rationally. The source of the power malfunctions just as he believes he makes Catherine fall in love with him. In reality Catherine already had feelings for Neil, but she is put off when she believes Dennis (whom she has heard but not seen) is Neil's boyfriend. In the meanwhile, Catherine's ex-boyfriend, a US Army colonel, is in town hoping to reconquer her heart. When he discovers Neil's abilities, he kidnaps him and force him to do his bidding. He is saved by Ray and Catherine but Catherine refuses to see him again when she learns he used the power to make her fall in live with him. After failing to commit suicide, Neil gives his power to Dennis, who uses it to destroy its source just as the aliens are about to destroy the Earth. The story starts from the beginning again but having retained some memories, Neil finally dares asking Catherine to dinner, which she agrees to.

Hooker and Luther are grifters in 1936 Chicago. After unknowingly conning a large sum of money from a mobster conveying it to his boss, Luther is murdered. Hooker escapes and seeks Gondorff who can teach him the greatest cons. They both agree to trick Lonnegan the mob boss who ordered Luther's murder. They setup a horse betting parlor where the horse race comments are read from a telegraph receiver, and make Lonnegan believe they have an arrangement with a Western Union employee who provides the race comments with a few minutes delay so that it is possible to bet on the winning horse before the race appears to be starting in the parlor. After a first successful attempt, Lonnegan bets a large sum belonging to the bank he works for. At this moment, a fake FBI agent appears, pretends to kill Hooker and Gondorff, and Lonnegan is taken out “to avoid scandal”, forced to leave his money behind.

On Corellia, Han and Qi'ra are forced to work for a gang in order to survive. The day Han manages to steal a sample of coaxium, the precious hyperspace fuel, they use it as bribe in an attempt to escape the planet. Qi'ra is taken back, but Han enrolls in the Imperial Flight Academy under the name Solo, promising himself to get a ship and come back for her. Three years later, expelled from the Academy and fighting as an infantryman, he attempts to join Beckett's gang, thieves posing as soldiers. Beckett gets him thrown in the pit to be eaten by the beast, a wookie named Chewbacca whom Han befriends; they escape together and are finally accepted in Beckett's gang, who needs hands for his next heist: stealing a shipment of coaxium from an imperial train. The mission almost succeeds, but they are attacked by Enfys Nest's Cloud Riders, and the precious cargo is lost, getting Beckett's wife killed in the process. Han and Beckett then meet with Crimson Dawn's crime boss Dryden Vos who had ordered the heist, and to save their lives they promise to find unrefined coaxium from Kessel. Vos sends his lieutenant with them, who is none other than Qi'ra, who apparently made a career in organized crime. Needing a ship, they meet famous smuggler Lando Calrissian. Han challenges Lando to a game of sabacc for his ship, the Millenium Falcon. Lando wins by cheating, but agrees to join them for a share of the profit. They manage to steal the coaxium on Kessel by wreaking havoc at the mine, freeing all the slave workers. Coaxium is very unstable, and since they have lost much time at the mine, they are forced to find a shortcut through the maelstrom to evade an imperial blockade. Making the Kessel run in less than 20 parsec, they reach the planet Savareen where the fuel can be refined and stabilized. There they meet Enfys Nest again, who explains that they are rebels fighting against Crimson Dawn and the Empire. Solo is willing to give them the precious coaxium and trick Vos, but Beckett double-crosses him. Qi'ra fights and kills her boss, and sends Han after Beckett, whom he kills before getting killed. In the meanwhile, Qi'ra takes control of Crimson Dawn and leaves Han alone. Some time later, he meets Lando again, and wins the Falcon at sabacc. Han and Chewbacca leave for Tatooine where a gangster is putting together a smuggling operation.

Near the end of a mission on the Hubble space telescope, a large amount of space debris destroy the shuttle, and only two members of the crew, Stone and Kowalsky survive. They manage to reach the nearby evacuated ISS thanks to Kowalski's MMU, but only Stone manages to enter the station. Kowalski tells her over the radio to use the second Soyuz module (unusable for landing because its parachute had accidentally deployed) to fly to the Tiangong station and use its Shenzhou module to land. She manages to board the second Soyuz module just as the orbiting space debris arrive again ad destroy the station. But Stone discovers she has run out of fuel, and decides to cut the oxygen and wait for death. She has a hallicination of Kowalski coming back and telling her that she can use the module's soft landing rocket to fly to the Tiangong. Ejecting herself from the module as it approaches the Chinese station at an angle, she uses a fire extinguisher to manoeuvre, reach and enter the station that is slowly entering Earth's atmosphere. The Shengzhou being similar to the Soyouz, she succeeds at landing it as the rest of the station burns.

Prisoner in a camp outside Nagasaki in 1945, Logan saves the life of a Japanese officer from the blast of the atomic bomb. Many years later, Logan has not aged, but the Japanese man, Yashida, is dying and sends his adopted daughter Yukio to bring Logan to him. He offers to transfer Logan's immortality to him so that Logan can finally become mortal again, while Yashida can live forever and protect his industrial empire and his grand-daughter Mariko from the Yakuza who want to kidnap her. Logan refuses, and the next night Yashida dies and his doctor secretly introduces something in Logan's body that will make him much weaker. During Yashidas's funeral, Yakuzas attempt to kidnap Mariko, but Logan saves her, getting hurt and unable to heal as quickly as before. Mariko and Logan hide in Nagasaki in a family house, but she gets kidnapped nonetheless. With Yukio's help, they discover that it is Mariko's father Shingen who kidnapped her, as he cannot accept that Yashida made her his heir. Back at the Yashida home in Tokyo Logan, thanks to Yashida's medical equipment, discovers the device lodged around his heart and extracts it. He then kills Shingen who had tried to kill him and Mariko. Yukio and Logan discover that Mariko is held captive in a factory in the mountains, in Yashida's birth place. There Logan is taken prisoner by ninjas (who have served Yashida's family for generations) and Yashida's doctor, a mutant named Viper, introduces him to the Silver Samurai, an electromechanical suit made of adamantium that will extract Logan's healing factor. Thanks to Yukio, Logan manages to escape, losing his adamantium claws in the process, and discovers that the Silver Samurai is manned by Yashida, who was willing to take Logan's healing power even without his consent. Logan eventually kills Yashida and regrows claws made of bone. Logan then leaves Japan. Two years later he is met by Magneto and Professor Xavier who warn him about a new threat against the mutants.

The Avengers always stop the villains, but always at the cost of massive damage, and particularly innocent civilians. The U.N. propose them to sign an agreement to be overseen by a U.N. committee. Some, as Iron Man, agree to it while others, as Captain America, want to remain independent and chose their fights. The signature ceremony is interrupted by a terrorist attack, and Bucky Barnes the Winter Soldier is identified as the attacker. Captain America decides to go and prevent the authorities from killing his long-time friend, but they all got apprehended. Barnes is then interrogated by Zemo pretending to be a psychiatrist; Zemo reactivates Barnes' Winter Soldier powers and send him on rampage to cover his own escape. Captain America manages to capture Barnes, who reveals that Zemo wanted the location of the abandonned Hydra base where the four other Winter Soldiers are kept in cryostasis. Captain America wants to immediately chase Zemo, without waiting for the U.N. committee's approval. Led by Iron Man, some Avengers (including Ant-Man and Spiderman) try to stop the other led by Captain America, but fail to prevent them from going after Zemo. Discovering that Barnes was framed by Zemo, Iron Man flies to the Hydra base. There Zemo reveals that Barnes, under the control of Hydra, had killed Tony Stark's parents, leading Iron Man to attempt to kill Barnes, ending up fight Captain America who tries to protect his friend. Zemo is eventually apprehended by Iron Man, but not before Captain America has left the Avengers, leaving his shield behind. Zemo is satisfied, as his plan for avenging the death of his family in Sokovia caused by the Avengers fighting Ultron was to plant discord among them.

One fund manager notices that the US housing market was rotten two years before the 2007 crash. He invests in credit default swaps, asking an investment bank to create a market for them, betting against the market, despite the common idea that the housing market cannot collapse, because it never had before. A few other investors learn of his analysis and follow his steps. The funds' investors are not happy about the fact that they need to pay large premiums for two years, but the managers are convinced they are right. In the meanwhile, some of them investigate the situation and discovers that mortgage brokers are selling loans to people who will not be able to pay them back, re-selling those mortgages to banks that are eager to turn them into financial instruments, MBS and CDOs. These instruments are well rated by complacent rating agencies, which helps keeping their values artificially high when more and more people start to default on their payments. When the value of the CDOs finally plummet, those traders sell their CDS, making enormous profits, but most of them give up on finance, disgusted by the fact that the system is rotten to the core.

Hank Pym had invented a way to shrink a human to the size of an ant but refuses to reveal it to his partner Darren Cross who wants to weaponize it. Years after having evicted Pym from the research center, Cross has managed to create his own method of shrinking humans, and plans to sell it to the highest bidder (who happens to be Hydra) in combination to the Yellowjacket, a mechanised body armour. Pym then enrolls Scott Lang, an ex-burglar, to become Ant-Man, by luring him into stealing the Ant-Man suit. Lang is caught, and Pym helps him escape prison by becoming the size on an ant. Pym manages to convince Lang to become Ant-Man and and prevent Cross from selling the Yellowjacket. Ant-Man enters secretly the research center during the unveiling ceremony for the Yellowjacket and with the help of the ants that Pym has somehow domesticated, they destroy the computers holding the research on the weapon. Ant-Man is however captured when trying to destroy the Yellojacket prototype, and a long fight ensues, against Cross wearing the armour. Ant-Man manages to enter the armour by reducing to a subatomic size, from which he manages to grow again despite Pym's prediction of getting lost in an environment where time and space lose meaning.

While raiding a Hydra base in Eastern Europe, the Avengers find an extra-terrestrial sceptre containing an IA in a gem, an Infinity Stone. Stark attempts to use that IA to make the ultimate peace-keeping android, Ultron. Ultron's consciousness awakes by accident, and it decides that to preserve peace on Earth, all humans must be eliminated. Ultron uses the Hydra lab to build an army of robots, and enrolls the Maximoff twins, who blame Stark for the death of their parents. The Avengers track Ultron in its search for vibranium, but he escapes, and Wanda Maximoff's psychic powers provoke hallucinations about potential futures, that almost breaks the team apart (and causes Hulk to do much damage in a city). In Seoul, Ultron forces Dr. Cho to create a body that allies the gem, vibranium and synthetic human cells, but the transfer of the mind to the new body is interrupted by Cho who got a warning from Wanda, the twins having turned against Ultron when learning its desire to kill all humans. The new body is recovered by the Avengers, and Stark merges JARVIS with the partial Ultron consciousness, creating a powerful being decided to stop Ultron. Back in Eastern Europe, Ultron uses the Hydra lab to build a device that lifts the whole nearby city in order to turn it into a meteor that will cause the next massive extinction of species. The Avengers, helped by Nick Fury and a few former S.H.I.E.L.D. agents, evacuate the city as it is lifting off, and destroy it in the nick of time.

Z is a nonconformist worker ant. One evening, he unknowingly meets princess Bala who wanted to discover the lower class of the ant society, and falls in love. Learning she would assist to the next day's military parade, he exchanges places with his soldier friend Weaver. The parading soldiers are immediately sent out to attack the termites, an attempt by general Mandible to get rid of all the soldiers loyal to the queen. Mandible, betrothed to Bala, aims to become the new ruler and build a new society without those feeble workers. Z survives unexpectedly, becomes a hero, meets the Queen, kidnaps the princess, and together they escape the colony. Z dreams to find the mythic Insectopia. They eventually reach the place (located around a garbage bin), but Bala is taken by Mandible's second in command, and Z follows them back to the colony. There they discover Mandible's plan to submerge the colony with the nearly finished tunnel that will open below a pond, keeping only his trusted soldiers with him. Z and his friends manage to evacuate the Queen and all the workers while the water is pouring in, killing Mandible in the process.

Juve décide de le faire évader et de se laisser enfermer à sa place. Des inspecteurs de la Sûreté le suivent, dans l'intention de l'arrêter à son arrivée en France. Hélas, Fantômas les sème et prend la place d'un passager du train, qui s'avère être le nouveau juge d'instruction de Saint-Calais. Fantômas assassine le marquis et fait chanter sa femme pour qu'elle lui remette une forte somme d'argent. En même temps, il vole aux voleurs les bijoux et l'argent de leur vente. Fandor fait faire extrader Juve et le fait venir à Saint-Calais, où le subterfuge est expliqué au procureur. Sachant qu'il va être reconnu et arrêté, Fantômas, jouant toujours le rôle du juge d'instruction, donne un ordre secret au chef des gardiens de prison de relâcher Fantômas après qu'on l'ait arrêté, étant donné que Juve se fait passer pour Fantômas. Fantômas se laisse donc arrêter après avoir enlevé sa perruque et sa fausse barbe, et se retrouve peu après à nouveau en liberté.

Juve est accusé d'être Fantômas et incarcéré. L'ancienne maîtresse de Fantômas, maintenant mariée, donne un bal masqué. Fandor y va déguisé en Fantômas, et un policier a la même idée que lui. Le véritable Fantômas s'y rend aussi, tue le policier et, toujours masqué, se fait panser une blessure au bras avant de partir. Le juge va alors vérifier le bras de Juve dans sa cellule, et y découvre une blessure. Mais on a tôt fait de découvrir que Nibet, le gardien travaillant pour Fantômas, a drogué l'inspecteur et l'a blessé pour le faire accuser. Juve est libéré secrètement. Fandor enquête de son coté et se fait accidentellement enfermer dans la maison abandonnée où Fantômas a caché son butin, à l'abri de sa bande de complices. Ce dernier, se faisant passer pour un simple lieutenant, promet que Fantômas procèdera au partage lorsqu'il se sera évadé. La bande, impatiente, enlève Juve, le croyant Fantômas et l'emmène à la maison abandonnée. Caché dans la maison, Fandor lui explique où est caché le butin. Au même moment Fantômas, se faisant passer pour Tom Bob, détective américain, fait venir la police à la maison abandonnée pour faire arrêter ses complices. Juve et Fandor étant sur place, ils parviennent à arrêter Fantômas, mais ce dernier parvient encore une fois à s'échapper.

Fandor croit Juve mort dans l'explosion de la villa, mais en réalité ce dernier a infiltré la pègre et surveille Nibet, complice de Fantômas. Fantômas a fait accuser un artisan de meurtre ; ce dernier meurt dans une cellule de palais de justice, et son corps disparaît. Fandor cherche à savoir comment le corps a pu disparaître, et son enquête le mène dans les égouts où il échappe de peu à Fantômas (grâce à l'action de Juve). Plusieurs vols sont ensuite commis par le malfaiteur, et on retrouve les empreintes du mort (Fantômas s'étant fabriqué un gant avec la peau de la main du mort pour laisser exprès ses empreintes). En parallèle, la s½ur de la victime retrouve dans les documents de son frère une liste perdue par Fantômas qui indique qui seront ses futures victimes, et la date approximative des méfaits. Fantômas cherche à plusieurs reprises à assassiner la femme, et elle doit son salut à Fandor. Juve se révèle alors à son ami, et en croisant leurs informations, ils déduisent que Fantômas se cache sous l'identité d'un banquier. Malheureusement, il parvient à nouveau à s'échapper au moment de son arrestation.

Une complice de Fantômas séduit un négociante et l'accompagne à bord du Simplon-Express ; Fandor les suit. Durant le voyage, leur wagon est détaché et ils sont dévalisés par la bande de Fantômas. Quelques temps plus tard, Juve et Fandor croisent la complice dans un restaurant ; sous la contrainte, elle leur révèle que Fantômas se trouve à ce même restaurant sous le déguisement du Dr. Chaleck. Juve et Fandor l'arrêtent, mais il parvient à s'échapper. Peu de temps après, on tente d'assassiner Juve en introduisant un serpente constricteur dans sa chambre, mais grâce à Fandor, Juve est sauf. Plus tard encore, la villa de Lady Beltham est en vente, mais on la dit hantée. Juve et Fandor la visitent et découvre que quelqu'un s'y rend régulièrement la nuit. Il s'agit de Fantômas qui y rencontre Lady Beltham. La police donne alors l'assaut, mais Fantômas s'échappe en faisant exploser une bombe dans la villa.

Suite à un vol de bijoux, l'inspecteur Juve enquête au domicile de Gurn et y trouve le cadavre de Lord Beltham et des cartes de visite au nom de Fantômas. Gurn est finalement arrêté et condamné à mort, mais sa maîtresse, Lady Beltham, soudoie des gardiens et remplace Fantômas en prison par l'acteur Valgrand qui vient de jouer sur scène les dernières heures du criminel. Valgrand est reconnu peu avant l'heure fatale, et Fantômas est libre à nouveau.

A young couple builds their build-it-yourself house, but a rejected suitor modifies the building instructions. The house-warming party ends in a disaster, and they eventually find out they built the house on the wrong plot. A train destroys the house as they try to move it.

Young lovers living on neighbouring houses are trying to see each other, but their fathers do their best to keep them apart. They finally attempt to get married, but the hostile fathers do their best to prevent the ceremony to get to its conclusion. They do get married in the end, though.

A man is mistakenly identified as a dangerous criminal. He tries to escape the police and find refuge in a nice girl's home (who lives with her parents). The father happens to be the policeman chasing the poor man. She eventually helps him escape.

Keaton plays several roles in this film, many of them appearing on screen simultaneously. The characters are in a variety theatre as several muscians, singer, dancer and choristers. He also plays the part of the prop master, who tries to court a woman, but repeatedly confuse her with her twin sister.

A butterfly collector enters the territory of Indians who are being kicked out by crooked oil sharks who have stolen their land deed. He manages to survive being burned at the stake buy making an asbestos suit. Awed by this, the Indians treat them as one of their own. He then helps them face the oil sharks, but he is caught by their boss, who forces him to change clothes with him. The Indians (and a rival tribe) chase him, but eventually recognize him. In the boss's jacket, he finds the land deed, allowing the Indians to stay on their land.

Oskari needs to go hunt alone in the Laplandish forest on his thirteenth's birthday, as a rite of passage. In the meanwhile, Air Force One it shot down while flying over the same forest, with the help of the president's bodyguard, Morris. The president's escape pod is found by Oskari, who takes him along on his hunting trip. But when reaching the family's secret hunting spot, Oskari finds a deer's head in a refrigerator, a sign that his father does not believe him to be able to hunt on his own. Morris cathes them at this place, soon joined by Hazar, who mostly wants to enjoy the hunt of such big game. Oskari and the president manage to escape, riding down a slope in the refrigerator, and arriving in the lake where Air Force One has crashed. They find shelter in the plane, but Hazar finds them, arms a bomb, but is then abandonned by Morris. They manage to escape using the pilots' ejection seats, killing Hazar and Morris in the process. Oskari is accepted among the hunters, having accomplished an even bigger feat than his father had.
