On planet Pandora, humans are mining unobtainium and, with the help of mercenaries, attempt to reloacate the indigenous Na'vi away from the gigantic tree that is their home. To approach the Na'vi, humans are remote-controlling artificially grown, Na'vi-looking avatars through a neural connection. Jack Sully, a paraplegic ex-marine, makes contact with the Na'vi and, after receiving a sign from the local deity Eywa, and learning the ways of the Na'vi, becomes a honorary member of the tribe. His mission is to convince the Na'vi to leave their home, but he falls in love with the chief's daughter and soon sides with the Na'vi. When the mercenaries attack the tree, Jack manages to rally the other tribes and together they manage to beat the humans before they manage to destroy the Na'vi's most sacred place. In the end, Jack's mind is transferred to his avatar thanks to the power of Eywa.

In 1939, Alan Turing is hired to work in Bletchley Park on decrypting the most complicated cipher of the time, Enigma, used by Germany in the war. He soon understands that only a machine will be able to beat Enigma, and despite the resistance from the commander of the research center who resents Turing naive, but actual intellectual superiority, he manages to build a computer nicknamed Christpher (the name of his best friend and first love when he was in school). He receives help from Joan Clarke, hired because she solved a crossword puzzle faster than Turing and when she is forced by her parents to leave the mostly-male Bletchley Park, Alan proposes to her so as to keep her close to him, despite his homosexuality. After the war, Turing is arrested for being an homosexual (while being suspected of being a Soviet spy), and despite convincing the police detective that his top-secret work during the war has probably saved millions of lives, he is sentenced to chemical castration which he chose over prison in order to continue working on the first generic computer. The treatment however robs him of his mental faculties and he soon after commits suicide.

In a not-so-distant future, cereal species are getting extinct one by one by the blight, and sand storm happen regularly. Cooper, an ex-astronaut and now farmer decodes a message appearing in his daughter Murphy's room as gravitational anomalies, leading him to what is left of NASA. Scientists there work in parallel on anti-gravity and on sending manned exploratory probes through a wormhole that had appeared near Staturn fifty years earlier; plan A is to make space stations and take humanity away from the surface into space and plan B is to send frozen embryo to a suitable planet in the other galaxy. Cooper is asked to travel through the wormhole to another galaxy, finding out what happened to the three probes that are still emitting pings back to Earth. Cooper leaves his children in the care of their grandfather, knowing that because of relativity, they will age much faster than he will. In the other galaxy, they have three planets to visit. On the first one, there is only the wreckage of the probe, destroyed by gigantic waves and barely escape with their lives, losing one crew member. On the second planet, they find a survivor ,Mann, who tries to kill them to take their ship and escape back to Earth. Cooper learns from him that he had faked the data about the planet (it's not inhabitable) to attract rescuers and that anti-gravity cannot be discovered without measurements taken from the inside of a black hole, and that plan A is just a scam to get people working while plan B is applied. Cooper and Brand manage to escape from the planet and save their orbiter from Mann's wrong docking maneuvres that almost destroyed it. They then split, Brand going to the third planet while Cooper jumps into the black hole. He discovers there an environment when he can survive, showing a 2-dimension view to his daughter's room and where he can travel time as a dimension of space. He then understands he can send messages by generating gravitational anomalies. He also sends the measurements taken from inside the blackhole by his robot sidekick, leading his daughter to discover anti-gravity. His environment then collapses and he's spit out of the wormhole. He eventually wakes up in a space station years later, seing his now elderly daughter for the last time. She convices him to go back and search for Brand, who is implementing plan B on the last planet (that happens to be habitable).

After having been woken up by Bilbo in in The Desolation of Smaug, Smaug attacks Laketown. He is defeater by Bard, who leads the survivors to the Dale, while the dwarves who had stayed at the town rejoin Thorin, Bilbo and the other inside the Lonely Mountain. Thorin has gone mad because the gold is tainted by the dragon and because he cannot find the Arkenstone (actually found and kept hidden by Bilbo); he also refuses to help the human refugees. Meanwhile, Gandalf is saved from Dol Guldur by Galadriel, Elrond and Saruman; Sauron is sent back to Mordor. Overnight, an army of Elves appears in front of the gates of the Kingdom under the Mountain, demanding their share of its treasures. Because of Thorin's refusal to share anything, the humans side with the Elves and are about to attack when King Dain arrieves with an army of dwarves. Gandalf finally joins them, announcing that the orcs, lead by Azog are about to attack. Nobody cares to believe him until the orcs actually attack. The allies are outnumbered but Thorin is finally convinced by Bilbo to walk out of the mountain and lead the dwarves. With a few other dwarves, they attempt to bring down Azog, who is coordinating the attack from Ravenhill. They are however ambushed by Bolg, who has been leading a second army of orcs. Azog and Bolg are finally killed, but Thorin is killed as well. The orcs now being defeated, Gandalf and Bilbo travel back to the Shire.

Rita trahit son fiancé Fred, gangster ayant volé une fortune en lingots, au profit de M. Charles qui lui a promis la moitié du magot. Ce dernier la trahit cependant à son tour. Rita décide alors de raconter son histoire (embellie) à sa tante Léontine, qui remonte à Paris pour punir Charles. Rita rencontre Tiburce, le neveu de Charles et en tombe amoureuse, ce qui retient Léontine de froidement assassiner Charlse. Ce dernier, suite à des négociations avec Léontine, vend l'or contre du liquide, pour acheter la paix entre elle et lui, mais les billets étant des bolivars, personne ne veut les reprendre (surtout que Léontine a empêché la transaction). De son coté, Fred essaye de récupérer son magot et fini perdu dans un sous-terrain. Le jour du mariage, Rita dit « non » à la mairie, et Léontine finit par assassiner Charles.

Irene Adler is killed by Moriarty after having failed to deliver a letter that Holmes had intercepted. Holmes, investigating apparently unrelated crimes commited by Moriarty's gang, meets Simza, the recipient of the letter, at Watson's bachelor party, and prevents her assassination. After Watson's wedding, Holmes meets Moriarty, and the latter threatens to kill the young couple if Holmes continues interfering in his business. Watson and Holmes follow Simza to Paris, looking for her brother Rene, sender of the letter. They discover that the anarchist group to which Rene used to belong had been forced to place bombs for Moriarty. Holmes incorrectly deduces the presence of a bomb at the Opera, while it was actually at an hotel, where the explosion was meant to cover the assassination of Alfred Meinhard by a sniper. Ther latter's death grants Moriarty ownership of Meinhard's arms factory in Germany. Holmes and his companions travel there following clues in Rene's letter. Holmes, captured and tortured by Moriarty, describes his plot to start a war in Europe after becoming the owner of various industries that would become very profitable in a war. Watson frees Holmes and they then traver to the peace conference in Reichenbach, Switzerland, the logical place where an assassination by Moriarty would start a war. Simza and Watson manage to identify Rene, disguised as one of the ambassadors and prevent the assassination, while Holmes fights Moriarty on a balcony. Holmes, injured, cannot win the fight, so he decides to throw himself and his opponent into the waterfall below. In the end, Holmes is presumed dead, but Watson receives a parcel that indicates he is actually still alive.

The Pirate Captain once again hopes to get the Pirate of the Year Award, but gives up when he seens how much plunder his opponents have gathered. He then attacks severa ships, none of which contained any riches, until he meets Charles Darwin. The latter recognizes the Captain's parrott for what it really is: a dodo bird, a species long extinct. Darwin wants to present the bird to the royal society but the Captain insists on presenting it himself, and the pirates travel to Victorian London where the Queen hates pirates. After a failed attempt to steal the dodo by Darwin's “manpanzee” butler, the pirates disguised as scientists present the dodo to the Royal Society. They are soon after identified as pirates, but the Queen eventually exchange the the dodo for a large treasure, which allows the captain to win the Pirate of the Year Award; his royal pardon is however discovered and he is banished. The crew soon discovers the disappearance of the dodo, feeling betrayed, abandon the Captain in London, where he lives as a peddler. One day at the zoo, he meets Darwin in front of the dodo's empty cage, and learns that the Queen is part of a secret society of the world's most powerful people who eat extremely rare animals for dinner. With Darwin, the Captain boards the Queen's steamboat and after a long battle eventually sink the ship, saves the dodo and regain the trust of his crew which had arrived just in time to save them.

In 1942, Steve Rogers wants to fight in the war, but is unfit for duty. Being smart, he is eventually accepted in a special unit and accepts to be the guinea pig for an experiment. His body is enhanced and gains superhuman abilities. The scientist who conducted the experiment is killed by a spy soon after, but Rogers manages to catch the spy. The latter works for Hydra, an organization originally working for Hitler and researching supernatural phenomena. Its head, Schmidt, the first guinea pig for body enhancement, has found an infinite source of energy and has built new weapons in order to take over the world. Now stronger, Rogers wants to fight in the war but he is instead ordered to perform in a show promoting war bonds, as character Captain America. While touring on the front, Rogers learns his friend has been captured by Hydra and attacks alone their base and frees the prisoner. With the help of Howard Stark, he becomes Captain America the super soldier, armed with an indestructible circular shield. Along with a small group of soldiers, they attack other Hydra bases. They eventually manage to capture Schmidt's mad scientist and locate Hydra's last base, from which Schmidt plans to attack American cities with a gigantic wing-shaped airplane. Rogers manages to board the airplane, fights Schmidt, removes its magical power supply and crash lands in the Arctic and is considered lost. 70 years later the crash site is dicovered and Rogers, who was asleep, awakes in the modern world where he joins S.H.I.E.L.D.

Tintin buys a model ship at the flea market, that several people try to buy from him. After being broken in a fight between Snowy and a cat, the ship gets stolen and Tintin investigates Sakharine, one of the insistent buyers who happen to own a replica of the same ship. Back at his place, Tintin finds a scroll, that was hiddent in the ship. Tintin is soon after abducted by Sakharine and taken prisoner on board of the freighter SS Karaboudjan. During his escape, Tintin meets Haddock, the ship's captain, a drunkard who is also prisoner of Sakharine; Tintin also discovers that Sakharine is heading to Bagghar where the third model ship is owned by Omar ben Salaad. They escape on a lifeboat, are gunned by a seaplane from the freighter; they manage to steal the plane and evetually crash in the Sahara desert, where Haddock starts telling the story of his ancestor, Sir Francis Haddock, captain of the Unicorn, transporting a fortune in gold. The ship was boarded by Red Rackham's pirates but the captain managed to make it explode after having taken a small part of the treasure with him. Three model Unicorn ships contain each a scroll which, when combined, would lead to the treasure. Tintin and Haddock are rescued from the desert by French légionnaires; they eventually reach Bagghar where the Castafiore is having a recital for ben Salaad. Her voice breaks the bullet-proof glass case containing the model ship and Sakharine then steals it. A lengthy chase ensues but Sakharine escapes with the scrolls. Thanks to Thomson and Thompson, they reach Europe before Sakharine and attempt to arrest him when he leaves his ship. After another lenghty fight, Sakharine, who reveals being the descendent of Red Rackham, is finally arrested. Haddock and Tintin following the scrolls' indications, finally find the treasure in a hidden cellar of Marlinspike's castle.

Gru is a super-villain who plans to steal the moon. For that purpose, he needs the shrinking ray that his opponent, Vector, stole from him. His attempts to enter Vector's fortress fail until he notices three little orphan girls selling cookies whom Vector invites in. Gru then adopts the three girls and uses them to introduce himself into Vector's house and steal back the shrinking ray. He then builds the rocket that will take him to the moon, but gets distracted by the three girls whom he slowly grows fond of; his associated mad scientist forces him to return the girls to the orphanage. He then flies to the moon, reduces it and steals it, and darts back to Earth in the hope of arriving in time for the girl's ballet recital. But the girls have been kidnapped by Vector who wants to exchange them for the Moon. The latter takes the moon but flies away with the girls. Gru chases them, noticing that the Moon is growing quickly back to its original size, eventually shooting back into its orbit, taking Vector with it. In the end, Gru definitely adopts the girls.

Jimmy Tong, the fastest taxi driver in town, is hired to be the driver of the mysterious Clark Devlin who happens to be a secret agent. When Devlin is seriously wounded, he tells Jimmy to continue his mission to investigate the Banning Corporation who plans to take over the world's drinking water supply to sell its own brand of bottled water. Jimmy wears Devlin's special tuxedo that gives him extraordinary physical abilities. Together with his partner Delilah Blaine (who thinks for quite some time that Jimmy is Devlin), they find Banning's laboratory where the villain breeds waterstriders that would pollute the water supplies with bacteria that instantly dehydrate their hosts. They manage to stop the plot in the nick of time.

Un coupeur de bambou, Okina, trouve une princess minitature dans une pousse de bambou. Cette dernière se transforme en bébé, adopté par Okina et sa femme; le bébé grandit en un été pour devenir une fillette de 10 ans qui joue avec le enfants des voisins. Okina découvre une autre pousse de bambou remplie d'or et une autre pleine de riches tissue. Il décide que c'est le signe que sa fille doit devenir une princesse et vivre à la capitale. Il y fait construire une demeure, déménage avec sa femme et sa fille; cette dernière y reçoit une éducation digne de la noblesse, c'est à dire qu'elle se doit de rester cachée sans rien faire d'utile, mais continue à ses heures perdues à cultiver son jardin et travailler dans la maison. Lorsqu'elle atteint la puberté, elle se fait baptiser Kaguya et attire l'intérêt de cinq nobles qui veulent l'épouser. Sans l'avoir jamais vue, ils la comparent à des trésors mythiques. Kaguya annonce épouser le premier qui ramènera le trésor qu'il évoquait. Trois ans plus tard, certains reviennent avec des faux, mais leurs mensonsges sont percés à jour. L'empereur décide alors qu'il veut faire de Kaguya une des épouses. Alors que ce dernier cherche à l'embrasser de force, Kaguya disparaît et réapparaît un peu plus tard. Elle explique alors qu'elle a invoqué la Lune, d'où elle est originaire, de l'emmener loin de cette vie qu'elle n'aime pas, et que le 15 du mois elle sera obligée d'y retourner; son apparition sur Terre état une punition pour avoir voulu connaître autre chose que la vie parfaite et monotone sur la Lune. Kaguya fait alors une dernier visite dans la montagne où elle a passé son enfance, et comprend qu'elle aurait pu avoir été heureuse si elle y était resté et avait épousé son ami d'enfance. Le jour dit, une délégation de la Lune arrive et enlève Kaguya à sa famille; on lui passe de force le manteau de plumes qui lui fait tout oublier, mais elle verse tout de mêne une larme en voyant la Terre s'éloigner derrière elle.

In the near future, mutants are exterminated by invulnerable robotic creatures names Sentinels. They have been developed by Trask from the 1970s, and his assassination by Mystique in 1973 has convinced the government of the mutant threat and the need to eradicate them. Thanks to Kitty Pride's ability to send someone's mind back in time into ones own body, Logan wakes up in his 1973 body with the task, set by both Professor X and Magneto, to prevent Trask's death and the development of Sentinels. He manages to convince Charles Xavier of the veracity of his story and knowledge of the future, and thanks to the help of young Evan Peters they free Magneto from his cell in the middle of the Pentagon. The then track Mystique to the Vietnam War peace conference in Paris and prevent her from killing Trask, but she is wounded and thanks to her blood Trask manages to progress with Sentinel. During Traks presentation of Sentinel at the White House, Magneto flies a stadium around the building and uses the Sentinels to fire on the guards. He then extracts the saferoom containing President Nixon, his staff and Trask from the White House's basement and prepares to kill the President. Finally convinced by Xavier's arguments, Mystique prevents Magneto from doing that. Nixon is then convinced that mutants don't need to be exterminated, and Logan wakes up nowdays in his current body but in a new timeline; he and Xavier then exchange their knowledge of history since 1973.

The story takes place in a fictional alpine country in 1932. Gustave H. is the concierge of the Grand Budapest Hotel and (among others) the lover of Madame D. After her sudden death, he inherits a valuable painting, but decides to steal it after being threatened by the children of Madame D. Soon after, he is accused of the murder of Madame D. and arrested. The lawyer of Madame D. is murdered after having announced to the family that a document is missing from the numerous amendments to her will. Thanks to his lobby boy and protégé Zero, Gustave escapes prison and try to find Serge X., Madame D.'s butler, who had been forced to testify against Gustave. They find him in a monastery, but he is murdered by a killer working for Madame D.'s son Dmitri. Back at the hotel, now general quarters of the army since the beginning of the war, they recover the painting hidden in the hotel's safe and discover the missing document in the back of the painting, placed there by Serge X. who had helped Gustave stealing it. Gustave is named sole heir of Madame D., and thus becomes owner of the hotel. But Gustave is soon after killed by a grumpy soldier who attacked Zero. Based on a deal Gustave and Zero had made just after stealing the painting, Zero inherits from Gustave and becomes the owner of the hotel.

Harris cannot stop the wave of robberies in his precinct; he then gets help from Lassard and his best men. They soon undertand that there is a mole among them, telling the robbers about all their moves. After loosing a priceless diamond, used as bait, they are dismissed and continue investigatin on their own. They find out that the robbers are obeying the orders of a mysterious man, and that all the robberies are taking place along the path of the future tramway. After a long chase, they eventually find out that the mysterious head of the gang is no other than the mayor, who had been buying property along the future tramway line at very good price because of the robberies in the area, planning to resell them once the tramway has caused the prices to increase again. The unwilling mole was Harris, who was reporting his progress to the Mayor.

During a blue moon night, a few smurfs and Gargamel travel through a vortex to modern New York. The smurfs meet Patrick, a marketing agent for a cosmetic company, and his wife Grace. To go back to their village, they need to find when a new blue moon is possible by reading the stars, find the correct spell and execute it. The find a star gazer in a toy shop (where they wreak havoc), but must fight Gargamel who is still trying to catch them. In an antique shop, they find the spell in a book about Smurfs, but are caught up by Gargamel who captures Papa Smurf. They are supposed to flee, but thanks to the spell, they manage to bring all the smurfs to New York, attack Gargamen's lair and free Papa Smurf. They all go back to their village.

Following An Unexpected Journey, Bilbo and the dwarves continue their adventure, through the forest of Mirkwood; Gandalf has left them without an explanation. In the forest, the party is attacked by giant spiders, and after escaping, are captured by the Wood Elves. They soon after escape, riding empty barrels down the river. They are chased by Orcs and protected by elves, led by Legolas. The latter is set on killing Azog. Meanwhile, Gandalf visits the tombs of the Nazgûl and finds them empty. He then travers to Dol Guldur. Bilbo and the Dwarves are then smuggled into the lake town of Esgaroth by Bard, the descendant of the rulers of Dale. Thorin promises the current ruler a share of the gold in the Lonely Mountain in return for weapons and supplies. Meanwhile, Gandalf confronts the necromancer at Dol Guldur and recognizes Sauron; Gandalf is taken prisoner. Bilbo and the Dwarves reach the mountain and thanks to Bilbo manage to open the secret door. Bilbo then seeks the Arkenstone in a huge pile of treasures, but wakes up Smaug the dragon. Rekindling the forges, they attemtp to burry the dragon in molten gold, but the latter escapes and decides to go and destroy Esgaroth for having helped the Dwarves.

Maxwell Smart, analyst for the CONTROL intelligence agency finally becomes field agent 86 when all active agents have been compromised. With his partner Agent 99, they investigate a traffic of uranium by the criminal organisation KAOS leading them to a (fake) bakery in Moscow. Smart destroys the bakery but further investigation by the famous Agent 23 shows no trace of uranium or wrongdoing. Smart is put into prison under the accusation of being a double agent. When he hears on the radio a message addressed covertly to him by an agent of KAOS who had helped them escape from the bakery that KAOS would plant a bomb in L.A., he escapes and goes there where he convinces his boss and 99 that hs is not the double agent, and finds proof that it is actually 23. A car chase ensues, 86 and 99 trying to recover the bomb's remote control from 23. They eventually prevent the bomb from exploding, and Max is definitly accepted as a field agent.

In ancient China, a soldier escapes the battlefield and ends up in a cave where he is attacked by ghosts and saved in the nick of time by a swordsman who quickly disappears. Their paths meet again and soon are joined by the Monk and his disciple. The soldier undestands that the warriors of goodness cannot unite to fight evil because they are arguing all the time. Their are attacked by a demon and only manage to temporarily imprison its soul; to destroy him, the two young ones must find the Lady Li I-Chi and get the two twin swords, Purple and Green. The Monk is poisoned by the demon and must be taken to the Fort to be cured by the Countess or he will become a double of the demon within ten days. In the fort they are attacked by the demon but eventually they escape. The Monk is cured, but the Swordsman is poinsoned too. The two young ones eventually reach the border between Good and Evil territories, find the lady who gives them the ability to unite the two swords. They thus manage to prevent the demon to enter Evil territory and tip the balance of Goodness/Evil in favour of the latter. They also become the new generation of gardians of Goodness.

Twenty years after failing to complete the Golden Mile, a 12-pub crawl in Newton Haven as teenagers, Gary King, an alcoholic, gathers the four friends from his youth to attempt the pub crawl again. In the fourth pub, Gary fights against a teenager in the toilet and discovers the kid is a robot; so are the kid's friend, and apparently a large proportion of the town's population. The inhabitants who are still human try and convince Gary and his friends to join themr. Their refusal to comply causes the robots to chase the heroes, losing two members of their group during in the process; they reappear as robots. Despite the situation, Gary is still keen on drinking one pint in each pub, and he and Andy eventually take cover in the last pub of the Golden Mile, the World's End. The place is the headquarter of an extra-terrestrial entity known as the Network (responsible for the advances in telecommunications in the past twenty years), who explains that key locations in the world have been invaded and a small proportion of the population replaced with robots to invisibly take humanity on the path to world peace and to take its place in a galactic federation (with little success currently, humans being quite set against imposed happiness) and the possiblity to access eternal youth, as robots. Gary refuses, causing the Network to leave the Earth and to cause global destruction of the planet. In the end, some humans who have survived are quite happy living a simple life with the robots, while others despise them.

Holmes is asked by Dr. Mortimer to keep his patient, Sir Henry Baskerville, safe from what caused the mysterious and horrific death of Sir Henry's uncle, Sir Charles, presumably killed by the legendary ghost hound, the Baskerville family's curse. Since Holmes cannot leave London, Watson accompanies Sir Henry to Devon. They are warned that a prisoner had escaped from the nearby Dartmoor Prison and is hiding on the moor. The prisoner, wearing Sir Henry's old clothes given to him by his sister, Sir Henry's servant, is found dead with marks of laceration on his body. Sir Henry also meets his neighbour, a struggling farmer named Stapleton, and his daughter Cecille, who falls in love with Sir Henry. Watson also notices another stranger on the moor, which happens to be Holmes. Sir Henry, led by Cecille to the place where Sir Charles had been killed, is attacked by the hound and by Stapleton, saved by Watson and Holmes. The legendary hound has been revived by Stapleton, using a masked, famished great dane trained to recognize Sir Henry's scent. Stapleton is an illegitimate descendant of the Baskerville family, and would inherit the Baskerville fortune at the death of Sir Henry.

Three cheap musical boxes (each one playing a subtly different version of "The Swagman"), manufactured in Dartmoor Prison, are sold at a local auction house. However, a criminal gang is determined to steal and recover all three. The first is stolen from a collector, friend of Watson's, murdered in the attempt. Sherlock Holmes is to late to prevent the theft of the second one, but manages to recover the third from the shop where it was re-sold. The maker of those boxes had stolen printing plates from the Bank of England and never revealed where he had hidden them before being arrested. Holmes discovers that a message is coded in the variations of the tune played by the boxes, and manages to decode it partly. The gangsters manage to steal the last box and manage to lure Holmes with a planted clue. Holmes escapses death and guesses the end of the message (the place where the plates are hidden, a small museum); Holmes and the police manage to catch the gangsters in the act.

Thor, son of Odin and future king of planet Asgard wants to prove himself by attacking the Frost Giants of Jotunheim (a commando of which had manage to enter unnoticed in Odin's castle and approach the source of their power, the Casket of Ancient Winter, taken from them by Odin when he had defeated the Giants long time ago). The attack is a failure and Thor, his brother Loki and their friends are saved in the nick of time by Odin. As a punishment for his rash actions, Odin banishes Thor to Earth. His war hammer Mjolnir is thrown to Earth as well and remains attached to the ground in the desert until someone worthy of it lifts it up. Thor meets a group of scientists studying strange phenomenons in the sky (due to the use of Bifrost, the rainbow that allows travelling between the nine realms), whose work is confiscated by S.H.I.E.L.D after the discovery of Mjolnir. In Asgard, Odin reveals to Loki that he has actually been adopted, and that is is actually a Frost Giant. Odin the falls into a coma to recover his strength and Loki, who considers himself the new king, lets Thor believe that Odin is dead. He then sends an indestructible robot to Earth after Thor, who, having learned humility is able to recover Mjolnir and protect the town from the robot. Loki is the one that has left the Winter Giant's commando in the castle; he kills the king of the Giants and then uses Bifrost to destroy Jotunheim. His plan is foiled by Heimdall, guardian of Bifrost, and Bifrost is subsequently destroyed by Thor who has returned to Asgard. He then fights Loki, who disappears into space.

Holmes and Watson have been hired to guard a famous diamond, the Star of Rhodesia, and her owner, Lady Margaret, by her son Roland, during their train journey from London back to Edinburgh; Lestrade is on the train as well. Roland is killed and the diamond is stolen. The suspects are a grumpy professor of mathematics, an old couple (whose husband admits having stolen a teapot at an hotel), a young woman, Vivian Vedder, accompanying her mother's coffin back to Scotland, and Watson's friend, Major Duncan Blake. Questioning the suspects leads nowhere. Holmes is then pushed out of the train and miraculously manages to return into the car; he hypothesizes that the thief is Moriarty's partner, Colonel Sebastian Moran. Watson and Homes then inspect the coffin and discover a hidden compartment where the killer had been hiding; Miss Vedder admits she had been paid to take the coffin on the train. Lestrade is then found knocked-out next to the body of the killer. The train makes an unexpected stop to pick up several scottish policeman, and Holmes tells them that Blake is Moran. The latter stops the train with the emergency brake and fights to escape but is arrested by the policemen and taken out, his head covered with a coat. Holmes then reveals to Watson that the policemen were fake, that they have actually taken Lestrade out, and that the real Moran is handcuffed and hidden below a seat.

Women are found dead, their forefinger removed. Sir George Fenwick's daughter asks Sherlock Holmes for help when she finds out her father has burried a box containing a finger. Sir George, after an evening with his girlfriend had awaken in an unknown place with the finger in his pocket, and is being blackmailed for having presumably killed a woman. Sir George is killed before Holmes has a chance to talk to him, but leaves a clue about a restaurant where Holmes had spotted him earlier in the company of a woman. Moriarty (whom Holmes believe is behind the murders) then visits Holmes and threatens to kill Watson unless he gives up on the case. Holmes conjectures that Moriarty is using hypnosis to make his victims believe they have commited a murder. Soon after, a hypnotised sniper attempts to kill Holmes from the empty house across the street. Holmes then investigates London's club of hypnotists where he meets and befriends Sir George's girlfriend. Back in her appartment, she and Moriarty attempt to hypnotize Holmes and force him to commit suicide, but he is saved in the nick of time by Watson and the police. Moriarty falls from the building's balcony in an attempt to escape.

The four children are back in Narnia, drawn there by young Prince Caspian who has sounded a horn (belonging to Susan, it had stayed behind when the fourn children had left Narnia, 1300 years ago). Caspian is chased by his uncle Miraz's men; being the last obstacle on Miraz's path to the throne. Caspian meets the Narnians, hiding in the forest after having been almost exterminated when Caspian's ancestors (the Telmarines) had invaded Narnia. Soon the four children meet the Narnians and Caspian and organize a revolt against Miraz, helped by an army of Narnians. Their first attempt at taking the castle fails and causes the loss of many. They then fall back in an underground temple, soon under siege by Miraz's troops. While Lucy escapes in the hope to find Aslan she had seen several times in visions and dreams, Peter challenges Miraz to a duel for the throne, buying Lucy time. Peter wins and spares Miraz's life; but one of the latter's followers kills him and blames the Narnians for having cheated, causing the troops to attack. Aslan arrives in the nick of time and saves the Narnians. He later offers whoever wants to go back to Earth (which is where the Telmarines came from originally). The four children take the opportunity to leave Narnia again.

The bishop sends Father Brown to carry a antique cross to Rome, but is warned by Scotland Yard that the famous antique thief known as Flambeau will attempt to steal the cross. In Paris, the priest identifies the thief and attempts to make him give up stealing and become an honest man; Flambeau however steals the cross and disappears. Father Brown attempts to bait him by putting an antique chess set (belonging to Lady Warren, one of his parishoners) to the auction; flambeau bites and steals the set, but returns it to its owner, a beautiful widow, and escapes the police with her and the priest's help. Flambeau still refuses to give up stealing antiques, but Father Brown gathers enough information (the crest on Flambeau's cigarette case) to track him to his castle in Burgundy with the help of an old heraldist and the owner of a Café in Paris. He discovers the secret room hidden behind the kitchen's fireplace where Flambeau has collected the product of all his robberies. Again, he helps Flambeau to escape the police; the collection is however taken and exposed in the Louvre. Seeing that his collection can now be admired by everyone in the museum, Flambeau returns to England and joins Lady Warren in Father Brown's church.

Ray, a serious sci-fi geek, and his friends Pete and Toby are at a pub. Ray meets Cassie, who claims to be a time traveler whose job is to find and repair “time leaks” and stop “editors” who kill famous artist just after they produce their best piece to prevent the downfall part of their career. The guys have some trouble believing her, but they end up traveling back and forth through time within the pub, the “portal” being in the toilets. They see themselves in several times, and discover that they somehow become famous. They meet a second time traveler, named Millie, an editor. Millie wants to take the piece of scrap paper containing the idea that will make them famous, but that will eventually lead to their death. They refuse, and Millie kills everyone in the pub. Ray manages to destroy the paper by spilling beer on it, causing all the events to not have happened, but the paper is still soaked. The three friends walk home wondering about the events in the pub when Cassie appears through a big glowing portal. She reveals that they have only fourteen hours to save the Earth, and urges them to go with her to a parallel universe.

Alfred Hitchcock has decided that his next movie would be a horror movie based on the serial killer Ed Gein, instead of making yet-another movie like the previous one. Paramount refuses to finance it, so he and his wife Alma mortgage their house and finance it themselves. Meanwhile Alma tries to convince her husband to read the script that a friend, Whitfield Cook, has written. Hitchcock finds it bad, and Alma, annoyed by her husband attitude and slowly folling in love with the writer, decides to work with Cook to improve his script. Meanwhile, Hitchcock is obsessed by his blonde actresses, a fact that Alma quickly discovers. But she also finds out that Cook has been only seducing her in the hope to get his script made into a movie by her husband. In the end, Paramount hates the movie; Hitchcock edits it with Alma's help, and by some marketing trick manages to make the premiere a success (Paramount initially was showing it only in two theatres).

The head of the russian mafia, Konali, has released a video game that is played worldwide. Unable to find proof and arrest him, the head of the Moscow police asks Lassard to come and help him with a team of his best men. They are set up by Konali and forced by the head of the police to leave Russia by the next airplane, but instead start chasing Konali's men, and eventually find Konali at his video game factory, where version 2 of his game, if released worldwide, would have allowed him to break into any computer system and take control of it. Konali escapes them and flees to his restaurant where Lassard, who had been separated from his team the whole time, arrests him.

Kirk is relieved of command after having violated the Prime Directive to save Spock's life. Soon after, a secret Starfleet weapons's research facility is blown up by a mysterious captain Harrison. The latter then attacks the building where all high-ranking Starfleet officers are gathered to discuss the first attack. Harrison transports to a uninhabited area of Kronos, the Klingon homeworld, and Kirk is sent there to blow him up with a set of top-secret, advanced photon torpedoes. Kirk then decides to catch Harrison instead of simply blowing up the whole area. Harrison reveals that his is actually Khan, a bioengineered super-human created 300 years ago and revived in secret by admiral Marcus to develop weapons. The latter belives that the war with the Klingon is unavoidable and that Starfleet must become an armed force. Khan also reveals that he had hidden in the torpedoes the bodies of 72 other super-humans that he tried to protect from Marcus, who was using them as hostages to force Khan to work for him. Soon after leaving Kronos, Enterprise is attacked by a mysterious Starfleet ship, heavily armed, and commanded by Marcus. The latter wants Khan and the super-humans back. After boarding the ship with Kirk, Khan takes control and sends Kirk back to Enterprise in exchange for the torpedoes. Enterprise escapes towards Earth, chased by Khan who has discovered that the torpedoes are empty but armed, and disable the ship. Khan then crashe onto Starfleet's headquarter, while Kirk, in an attempt to prevent Enterprise to do the same, dies from radiation poisoning repairing the engine. Spock then chases Khan (who had survived the crash) to take a sample of his blood, ther latter having regenerative properties, and saves Kirk's life. Some time later, Kirk and Enterprise leave for a five year exploration mission.

Malagant used to be King Arthur's first knight, but he now seeks power for himself and harasses the small country of Leonesse, ruled by Lady Guinevere. To protect her people, she decides to marry Arthur. On her way to Camelot, she is attacked by Malagant's men and saved by a wandering knight, Lancelot. They fall in love, but denies her feelings for him since she is betrothed to Arthur. Lancelot's steps take him to Camelot where Arthur notices his bravoury during an obstacle course. After Arthur refused to share Leonesse with Malagant, the latter kidnaps Guinevere, who is then delivered by Lancelot. Arthur then makes Lancelot a knight of the Round Table, and when they hear that Malagant had attacked Leonesse, they go to war and fight for restoring the small country's freedom. Lancelot then announces his intention to leave Camelot, and Guinevere and him finally kiss, only to be discovered by Arthur. The latter accuses them of tresaon and organizes a public trial Camelot. Malagant takes the opportunity to attack Camelot, but Arthur exhorts his people to fight. He is severly wounded at the beginning of the battle; Malagant is killed by Lancelot. Before dying, Arthur makes Lancelot first knight of the round table and forgives him and Guinevere.

Andy is going to college in a few days and does not play anymore with his old toys. Woody is the only one he plans to take with him. The toys (including Woody) are by mistake donated to a kindergarden (instead of being put into the attic as Andy planned). Andy manages to escape and ends up being picked by Bonnie, a little girl, while the other toys are savagely handled by kids too small to be able to play with them. They discover that the toys are ruled by Lotso the pink teddybear and a few goons, who assigns the newly donated toys to the smaller kids and keeps the toys prisoner at night so that they wouldn't escape. At Bonnie's place, Woody learns the truth about Lotso and decides to go and free his friends. They neutralize Lotso's goons and prepare to escape through the waste disposal system, but they are caught and end up in the trash bin and taken to the city dump. There they saved in the nick of time from the incinerator and manage to return to Andy's place just before he leaves to college. But Woody writes a not that convices Andy to give all the toys to Bonnie, who really knows how to play with them, the way he himself used to.

Fantomas décide d'imposer les très riches (nobles et gangsters) d'un impôt sur le droit de vivre. Lord Edward Mac Rashley, richissime écossais victime de Fantômas, décide de faire appel à Fandor et à Juve pour attirer le gangster et l'arrêter. Fantômas est déjà sur les lieux, fait passer Juve pour fou en lui faisant voir des « fantômes », et prend rapidement la place de Lord Edward, qu'il a éliminé. Les nobles ayant fait cause commune avec les gangsters qui refusent de payer, Fantômas veut profiter d'une chasse à courre pour en enlever quelques uns pour convaincre les autres de payer. Hélène et Fandor découvrent par accident que Lord Edward est en fait Fantômas, et décident de se faire passer pour morts. Pendant ce temps, le faux Lord Edward convainc ses victimes de rassembler une fortune en diamants afin d'attirer Fantômas, avec pour but réel de disparaître avec le magot. Fandor et sa fiancée arrivent sur ces entrefaits, mais Fantômas parvient tout de même à s'échapper avec les diamants.

Seven years have passed since Batman has taken the blame for the death of Harvey Dent. Bruce Wayne doesnt' want to see anyone, and Batman has disappeared. Thanks to Wayne's fingerprints, stolen by Selina Kyle, Bane's gang gambles and looses on purpose the billionaire's fortune in the stock market. The purpose is for Dagget to take control of Wayne's Enpterprises, but the plan fails since Miranda Tate is elected instead. Batman is caught by Bane and sent to an underground prison in a faraway land, where Bane had been a prisoner, with the goal the let Wayne watch, powerless, while Gotham is being destroyed. With Dagget's support, Bane had placed explosives in the seweres of whole Gotham City, and after having stolen the core of the fusion reactor that Wayne had been building (but had given up because it could be turned into a weapon), isolates Gotham City by destroying the bridges, traps the policemen who had been looking for Bane in the sewers and frees all the prisoners from the prison. Batman eventually manages to regain strenght and escapes the prison, returns to Gotham and kicks the bad guys' butts. He discovers that Bane was only a henchman to Miranda Tate (whose father, Ra's al Ghul, who wanted to destroy Gotham City, had been killed by Batman years ago). Batman disposes of the reactor's core, that was due to explode any minute and disappears again.

Fantomas enlève le professeur Marchand, et Fandor se doute qu'il enlèvera bientôt le professeur Lefebvre, dont les recherches sont complémentaires de celles de Marchand. Fandor se déguise en Lefebvre et prend sa place pour se rendre au congrès scientifique à Rome où le professeur devait se rendre. Fantomas, déguisé lui aussi en Lefebvre, tente d'enlever le faux Lefebvre, mais finit par enlever le vrai, qui s'était rendu à Rome malgré tout, après avoir entendu les âneries proférées par Fandor en son nom. Le petit frère d'Hélène, qui faisait partie du voyage, est enlevé par Fantomas, et sa grande soeur est contraite d'obéir à Fantomas, qui est amoureux d'elle. Il l'invite à un bal masqué dans son chateau, et elle est suivie par Fandor, suspicieux et jaloux, accompagné de Juve. Ils sont enlevés par Fantomas et emmenés dans son repaire secret, duquel ils réussissent à échapper en compagnie des savants qui avaient aussi été kidnappés. Ils poursuivent Fantomas en voiture, mais ce dernier s'échappe en DS volante.
